Information accessed

The desktop tool uses Google OAuth credentials to access an authorized Google Ads account. It reads the account currency and requests keyword ideas, historical search volumes, competition metrics and historical bid ranges. Requests include seed keywords, geographic and language settings and the account identifier.

Use and storage

We use the results to evaluate keywords for our own prospective advertising campaigns. OAuth refresh credentials, cached responses and research reports are stored on the operator's computer. Credentials are excluded from source control and are not intentionally printed in logs. Google receives authentication and API requests needed to provide its services.

Sharing

We do not sell Google user data or provide account access to other customers. The collector and scorer make no language-model calls. Company-authorized personnel and software may inspect research results and operational status to support this workflow; credentials are not included in those reports. Data may be disclosed if legally required.

Retention and deletion

Local credentials are retained until access is revoked or the local credential file is deleted. Research caches and reports remain until deleted by the operator; there is currently no automatic deletion schedule. Contact us to request deletion of data held by this tool. You can revoke the application's access in your Google Account's third-party connections settings; revocation does not itself erase local research files.

Limited Use

Cairnfield Keyword Research's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
